I had an online video game rental service for $9.99 a month. I was able to select games online, for various platforms, and made a list of games in the order that I wanted to receive them. One would get sent out to me and I could keep it for as long as I wanted; when I sent the game back I received my next game in one day!
Review of Service
At first I really enjoyed this service. It was a great way to play the games that I wanted to play without incurring the cost of having to purchase them, only to dislike or grow bored with them. The more popular games, however, can be very hard to come by. If there is a game that is very high in demand you have to wait a great deal of time before it is available to be sent to you. In addition, there were a couple times when they made an error and sent me the incorrect game. That can be frustrating and disappointing.
Tips
The service works best for someone who has a great deal of games that they want to plan and don't really care what order they play them in. If you are interested in playing the more popular new releases, you might have a tough time as they are harder to come by!
