Review of Service
The service provided was excellent. In a very difficult real estate climate, the realtor was able to sell the condominium within 120 days from listing. Many sellers today are attempting to eliminate full service commission by going the "for sale by owner" route. In the end, this can prove to be very costly. In today's market, the advantage of having a realtor to help correctly price your property, and get exposure for to a wider array of potential buyers is critical. In the current real estate world, time equals money. Previously, a slow sale could actually prove beneficial to the seller seeing appreciation was likely during listing period. Today, however, time can prove quite costly.
Tips
It is best to find a realtor via recommendations from trusted sources. Ask close friends and associates if they have had a recent positive experience with a given realtor. Attempt to find a realtor with a specialty in your particular area. Discount services can look appealing, however as stated before in many cases you get what you pay for.
