I have had liposuction twice now on the same areas because they are certainly problem areas for me--I tend to carry any and all weight in my butt, hips, and thighs. The surgeons are certainly skilled and knowledgeable about their craft and do an excellent job sculpting and shaping problem areas. The procedure took about two hours, and I was under general anesthesia so I was completely asleep, and recovery was fairly painful, but I was back to normal activities within about a week. Follow up care was exceptional, and the staff is compassionate and friendly and patient when it comes to answering and addressing any concerns or issues you may be having. I would certainly return to this plastic surgeon, and actually have.

Don't have unrealistic expectations of what you want to look like following procedures. While surgeons can certainly be gifted and talented, they aren't miracle workers. You will need to follow post-op instructions carefully if you want to maintain the results you have achieved. Don't be afraid to ask anything that concerns you regarding the procedure, and be sure to follow up wtih your surgeon if there are any unexpected concerns which may arise from the procedure.
