the Price of a Financial Planner

I paid for a financial planner to plan for my families financial needs. He came to the home at a time convinient to me, and set forth a variety of products offered. These products included life insurance, pre-paid legal services, mortgage refinancing, investment accounts, stocks, bonds, and other similar financial products.

Overall, I was dissatisfied with the service. He came to my home, at a pre-set time that was convinient to me. He was very well dressed and pleasant. However, he started the presentation with showing me my income potential with being an employee, self-employed, or business owner. He discussed how I could make limitless money as a business owner and tried to recruit me before he presented any of his financial products. I allowed him to continue but was very skeptical. I felt that his focus should have been on the financial planning and not recruiting. I did'nt purchase his package in the end, but did listen to the entire presentation.

I would highly suggest to anyone in need of a financial planner to research the integrity of the company they are investing with. Their integrity is crutial to your money,and if anything makes you uncomfortable, invest with another place.
