My daughter took tap dancing lessons at a local community center. The cost was $15 per class that she attended.
Review of Service
These were great classes. They were an hour long each. All the kids in her class were beginners, but some of them had a little more experience than she did which worked out great because those kids with more experienced helped the newer kids out.
We signed her up for the classes to try to get her to interact a little more with kids. She is home schooled so we felt she needed to have an outside activity to help be more socialized. She really loved the classes and met some great people.
There was also a recital at the end of the year. They all had matching outfits but there were fundraisers throughout the year to pay for these. That worked out great because we don't have a ton of money and probably would have had trouble buying them on our own.
Tips
Check out your local community centers to see if they have cheap classes like these. Even though they are inexpensive they can still be really great classes and your kids can definitely get a lot out of them.
