Description of service
Group Salsa class of about 20 people mixed male and female. The class was one hour long and included only one instructor. The class was to teach the basic salsa moves including one or two different turns.
Review of Service
This was a beginning class for salsa. There were almost even numbers of men and women. The teacher made us rotate people so we learned to dance the same things with different people. This is good because not everyone leads the same!
The class lasted for an hour. We did manage to get most of the objective learned, but because of the slow momentum of the class, from being so large, by the end of the class we were rushing through the rest of the moves. Those moves were not engrained in my memory as well as the rest because we did have to rush. For 20 dollars it was ok, but I prefer more hands on and less people so I can get more help. Sometimes it is difficult to ask a question in a group that big, not to mention harder to progress if you are a faster learner.
Tips
All in all, it is a good price for what you learn, but if you are more advanced, I would suggest working privately or in a smaller class. I feel that in a smaller class with more attention, we can move through the objective of the class at a continued pace to get equal amount of attention on each move to learn it properly.
