I took dance lessons at a Dance Studio to learn Salsa, The lessons were $20.00 for half an hour and included half an hour of free dance after the lessons.

The dance instructor was very kind and helpful - He danced with me to help improve my dancing and make sure I had proper technique. You pay for the class before you do the actual class, and they give discounts if you sign up for more than one. They also give plenty of time for you to dance with the partner that you brought. There are classes for beginners and advanced. The atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable.

Make sure you ask others before you go and sign up for a dance studio to ensure the instruction is of upmost quality. I would also call them and ask about any deals or specials they might have if you sign up for more than one class or do multiple sessions at the center. I also would take classes in a group setting if you are new to dancing or if you are uncomfortable with the spotlight being solely on you. Also ask if you want to get lessons for a wedding.
