Description of service
We sent out 50 invitations for our daughter's Sweet Sixteen birthday party. The total cost of the invitations was $75 and included basic white envelopes.
Review of Service
We wanted to have a really special party for our daughter for her 16th birthday so we had the invitations custom made for her. The theme of her party was the movie High School Musical. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a printing company who was willing to put any of the cast members on the invitations because that is copyright infringement.
What we did find though, was a printer who looked into High School Musical and came back with several ideas on how to incorporate our theme without breaking any copyright laws. What he came up with was a theme based on music and high school. There was a picture of a locker on the front and lots of decorations on the locker about music and singing. They turned out great and we were very impressed, especially for such a low price.
Tips
If you have something specific you want on your invitations but it is copyrighted, work with your printer to see if you can think of something similar without being so specific as to have it break copyright laws.
