Description of service
I used an internet company that could custom make birthday invitations with a picture on them. I received 50 invitations printed on cardstock paper with envelopes. There was also an extra charge for a picture change fee and shipping.
Review of Service
I went to this company because they were recommended. I felt the cards themselves were a bit pricey, but I heard the quality was good. I would submit my order via online and send in the pictures. I then received a proof of the invitation via email about 3 days later. I liked the design, but I did not like the way the picture looked on them. I had requested a new picture. I was advised that I would have to pay an additional $25 fee for the change. I felt backed into a corner. They have a very strict cancellation policy and if I had canceled instead they would have charged me $50. So, my choices were to pay the picture change fee to have an invitation I liked, cancel the order for $50, or just take the invitation as is and proceed to finalize the order. I had opted to pay the picture change fee so that I could feel like I got my money's worth. Once the order was approved and paid for, it took about 7 days to ship. I did like the invitations but I felt the customer service was inept. They were very inflexible.
Tips
I would recommend researching the company you are going to. I would make sure you read all their policies before starting an order with them. You can be surprised with extra costs during the process if you aren't careful.
