the Cost of Birthday Invitations

I paid $250 to have fifty birthday invitations printed for a birthday party I was having at my home. It was a completely custom design. It was a single folded card on beige paper. I chose it to be printed with one color, black ink, with a really formal and ornate font. The $250 included the printing fees as well as taxes. I designed the card myself, so it made the total cost less.

I am really pleased with the way that the cards came out. I thought that they were made at a reasonable price too, considering that it was a custom design on custom selected paper. The employees of the design company were also very helpful in helping me to put together an invitation that would look great. I'm very happy with how they came out. My only complaint is that they had the invitations ready for me a day later than when I expected them to be finished.

I would really suggest designing the invitation yourself. There are a lot of desktop publishing programs available now that make it very easy for you to design exactly what you want for an invitation. Many printing companies offer design services, but it can become very expensive. Making your own design is also a lot more interesting than picking something ready-made out of a catalog. It's really something to consider.
