the Price of German Lessons

This price includes the 6 week course plus 2 required books. There were two required books plus an optional English/German dictionary. The course was twice a week for the 6 weeks and each class was two hours long.

This was a better experience than I expected. The class size was very small which provided time for more attention to things the class didn't understand. This class’s focus was strictly conversational German, but if you had questions about the language the teacher was happy to answer them even if it wasn’t planned to be covered in class. German culture was also explained in class which helps you understand the language better. As well during class there would be small group projects, listening exercises in addition to instruction. Quizzes were also given throughout the 6 weeks and an accumulative test at the end. Homework was also assigned.

Be prepared for class. Go over the work previously done and also what will be covered in class. Know the alphabet, including the umlaut letters and double "S"--it will help with pronunciation. Also, speak the language. If you never practice speaking it, you will only be able to read or write it.
