Description of service
No contract cell phone, I payed about $70 a month after all the fees they charge for 600 minutes. Once those minutes were gone I could add more on if needed otherwise they roll over to the next month and I would be charged another $70 for 600 more minutes.
Review of Service
When I purchased this plan I also received a phone for $50. The phone was nothing fancy, looking back now I should not have purchased that phone for $50. I was told I only had 3 phones to choose from that would work with this plan which really is not the case because any SIM card can go in any phone with this company.I didn't really have any major problems with the service other than the fact that even if I hadn't used all of the 600 minutes I would still be charged every month for $70 and there was no option to stop that charge if you didn't need to refill your minutes because I was made to have my cell phone account linked to my checking account so the money came out automatically. By the time I decided to switch to a regular contract plan I had so many minutes(the minutes really translated into money in my cell phone account) built up that I ended up just spending the money I had built up in my account on ringtone downloads. I had a few problems when I canceld the account, I had to talk to 3 different people for them to get it right. I was asked for my zip code to verify my account and when I gave it the man on the other end told me it wasn't right so I had to hang up and call back only to get a different person who asked me the same question and I didn't have a problem that time.
Tips
Don't think that just because you have a no contract cell phone plan you are getting the best deal. I have switched to a contracted plan and now pay $50 a month for the same amount of minutes.
