Description of service

Service included only first initial visit and blood samples. Service only included specialist fees and the cost of blood samples, it did not include any kind of medicine or treatment that could be done on site.

Review of Service

As I first got the appointment, I asked how much it was just to get seen by an specialist? It was a general fee of $80.00 per visit. The reason I went to see a dermatologist was because I had developed a couple of white spots on my skin, mainly my face. After the first initial check up I was directed by the dermatologist to the local laboratory in the same clinic, laboratory testing would end up costing me $300.00. Results would be available the next day so to have my results reviewed I had to set up another appointment which would then in turn cost me another $80.00. After reading the results of my testing I was surprised to see how the specialist just gave me certain cream that she said would be helpful and never giving me another indication as to what I should do to improve my condition. I tried the prescribed cream and It did not work. I never went back to see her again. She actually wanted me to schedule weekly appointment in order to keep check on my condition. It would haven been O.K. but I just did not get enough advice from her, whe would just say, yeah they are getting worse or they are a little better, never any other advice or diet!

Tips

Look for a good dermatologist! And ask plenty of questions, you need the advice. If they are not very receptive than look for a new specialist, some of them just do not have enough experience.
