the Price of Scooter Repair

I have had starting problem with my scooter and was unable to start the scooter due to which I had to take my scooter to a repair center. I have consulted a local repair center and they said that the starting unit needs to be checked and that I leave the scooter over there. They checked the whole unit and found that the part called the armature need to be changed. They have also done the servicing but with delay as they didn't have the spare parts in stock with them.

For the armature they charged 67 dollars and for the service they charged 25 and for miscellaneous expenses they have charged me eight dollars. They have replaced the unit and had given me my old spare part for proof of changing. The services where fine but there was delay in getting it repaired. In total they have charged dollar 100. The rates are reasonable but they lacked promptness. They have also provided a complementary wash which I had really appreciated. They have really helped me solve my problem and now I have no problem with starting my scooter smoothly. The scooter was also tested and rode by the mechanic and they have also tightened the loose screws over the scooter.

I have had my scooter repaired three months back since I found that I had a problem starting my scooter and that I couldn't start using the starting switch. I rode my scooter after kick starting it to a local service center and handed it over for repair. They checked my scooter and asked me to leave it and come later. Hence I handed it over to the service center and called them the next day to inquire whether it has been repaired and they said that the armature has to be replaced and since they don't have the spare part in stock it would take one more day.

I called up the next day as well and they told that the spare part has not yet arrived and would take more time. I got it repaired only after a week. They had provided me with my old armature as a proof of replacement. Even though the problem has been solved the delay had really bothered me and annoyed me a lot, for the rest it was fine and I have not faced the problem after the repair. The service center was very small and had very little space which I found very inconvenient.

Always when you are taking your scooter for repair it is better that you take it to the authorized service centers as they would provide you uninterrupted and quality services. Choose a service center that are spacious and hence can park your scooter inside so that you would have a feeling of security for your scooter. Your scooter is very precious to you and hence even a little bit of scratch is something you wouldn't bare to have, hence providing your scooter to authorized dealers are the only way to get ensure more systematic and safe repair.

If you want your scooter to be repaired promptly then it is better that you hand it over to an authorized service center as they are more prompt and systematic. If you are repairing from private service centers then make sure that they have the proper facilities and the spare parts are readily available and that they are capable of repairing within a short period of time without causing unnecessary delay. And make sure that you provide your scooter for service at the beginning of the problem and not wait until it gets worse. Repairing your scooter as soon as possible in case of damage and servicing it regularly will increase the life and performance of your scooter.
