Description of service

Required rear brakes on my Chinese gear-less 50 CC scooter.

Consult two mechanics and both provided same rate of $45 (plus taxes) for the task.

$15 was the price of break-pad and $30 was charged for labor.


Review of Service

Quality of the service was satisfactory.

The brakes worked fine after installation of new pads.

The mechanic provided maintenance tips for the brakes and other components of the scooter.

The mechanic did not accept credit cards, as such I had to pay cash.


Tips

Make sure you request quote from at least 2-3 different mechanics.

I wish, I had inquired if the mechanic would accept credit card as a mode of payment.
