Description of service
The manicure service at this location included the basics - removing old nail polish, cutting nails, trimming and pushing back cuticles, and repainting my fingernails with the polish of my choice.
Review of Service
The staff at this place was very friendly. It was a pretty "no frills" atmosphere, which is pretty much what you would expect from a nail salon in a strip mall, of which there are many in this area. This was definitely not a spa. However, the ladies here did every bit of as good a job as they would in a spa - only without a thorough hand massage. But, in my opinion, a good manicure at this price is worth the lack of atmosphere. The nail stylist did a good job with my nails. They looked fantastic and they lasted for several weeks - longer than they usually do. They had a pretty good selection of nail polish to choose from as well.
Tips
A lot of these local nail salons, especially the established ones, fill up quickly. So, make sure to call in advance to make and appointment. Definitely do so if you plan on going with a friend or two. Also, don't forget to tip. These ladies work hard. To throw them a couple of dollars is something, but not great. I usually tip a bare minimum of give dollars on a manicure. Consider the deal you are getting for a manicure under twenty bucks!
