the Cost of Manicures

I recieved a manicure that included having my nails cleaned, nails filed, nails clipped, and shaped. The nail tech. soaked my nails in warm oil before my hands as well as each individial finger was massaged. The nail tech. gently wiped away any excess oil before pushing back my cuticles and clipping dead cuticles. Then a base coat, my choice of nail color, and a top coat were applied to my fingers. There was the choice of a drying lamp, or a nail dryer spray.

I recieved excelent service. The nail techniction was very professional, and nice. I understood everything she said. She also told me how to stretch my manicure by applying an additonal coat of clear polish when I arrived home.

My tip for other people would be to go to the nail salon on a monday or a tuesday. these are usually slow days for the nail salon and the wait is very short if any. I also find that the longer I stay under the drying lamp, or if the salon is crowed sitting in a chair to allow polish to completely dry the longer the manicure will last. Always go to a salon that you trust, and never get dry cuticles cut it increases the chances of nails bleeding and becoming infected.
