Review of Service
The service was okay. I didn't do a lot of research ahead of time, so I didn't fully understand what to expect. It had been suggested on several past occasions to get botox injections for relief of migraines, and I finally decided to take the leap. The doctor seemed competent enough, but left my forehead with some minor bruises. I also received a number of injections in the back of my neck, and was unaware that it would make it difficult for me to hold my head up if I bend over...kind of scary when I first realized I had a hard time with that. Other than that, the staff was professional and courteous, and answered all my my questions to the best of their knowledge. So far so good--no migraines in a few days!
Tips
Speak with your personal physician if you are getting botox for migraines. They may recommend a specific doctor or neurologist. Two thousand dollars is a lot of money to shell out for something if it is shoddy work! Do a little research before you have any procedures done, and be sure to ask a lot of questions so you are not blind-sided by side effects of botox that you didn't know about.
