the Price of Botox ®

I recently had two botox injections which were done by a board certified plastic surgeon. The injection syringes were 350 dollars each and the doctors fee was 195 dollars. I had the botox injected around the laugh lines and also in my forehead. The results were amazing--it took off 10 years! You should be aware that the results are not permanent, the effect wears off in about three to six months. Mine lasted about six months. The plastic surgeon was at the clinic I visited two days a week and traveled to Baton Rouge two days a week to perform services there.

I felt that the plastic surgeon did an excellent job. She even advised against injecting at the eyebrows (she did the center of the forehead) to avoid having a surprised look. She also addressed some skin care issues (wrinkles) and prescribed a topical cream for me.

Botox cannot be injected aroud the eyes, so if you want to get rid of the crows feets, restalyn or juvaderm would be an option but not botox because it can paralyze the muscles around the eye giving a droopy effect. The botox injections are slightly painful but it's over within a few minutes. My advice for anyone considering botox is that if you are going to have it done, plan on it being a recurring investment because when it wears off you will be wanting more so I wouldn't recommend botox if you cannot afford to keep getting the injections.
