the Price of Botox ®

I had Botox injected into my forehead and around my eyes at a dermatologist's office. He has a high volume practice that enables him to have "Botox Parties," that is, events where the price of Botox is reduced due to the quantities of the drug that he purchases. Because he has been administering Botox for a number of years, this doctor is very skilled at the placement of the injections, and at administering the injections in a pain free manner.

I was very pleased with the results I obtained. I had minimal bruising from the procedure, and the effects lasted at least six months. In addition, the doctor was very careful to numb the areas he injected and had cold packs available for me to use immediately after the injections were administered. I felt that receiving this treatment from a dermatologist, rather than a medical spa or aesthician, was a good decision.

Again, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist for this procedure. As is the case with any procedure, there are risks that attach, and having a board certified doctor administer the injections is a good way to minimize those risks. Also, the dermatologist was available to answer questions and discuss other treatments that he felt could benefit me.
