Description of service

A lot of people don't know that that your local cleaners also does mending and garment repair, and zipper replacing. If you have any pants, shorts or skirts with a broken zipper, you don't have to throw them out. Take them to the cleaners and have them repaired. It usually costs around $10 for a service like that. I also take in old jeans, or the kids old pants to the cleaners and have them make them into shorts for the summer. If your kids have out grown their school jeans or pants, they can be made into shorts for the summer. They do a very professional job and you would never know that the pants (now shorts) were ever altered at all.

Review of Service

I think that the cleaners do an excellent job with alterations and repairs. It is better than throwing out the clothes that need altering and buying new clothes. The mended clothes usually look as good as new!

Tips

There is usually a cleaning store on every corner. Check with one or two of them on pricing. The price may vary by a few dollars, but it may be worth checking around, especially if you have a lot of items that need altering.
