WHen I was getting a divorce, I did not have a great deal of money so I wanted to find the best lawyer that I could get for the money. I chanced upon a number of great lawyers in downtown Cleveland that would help start proceedings with only a one hundred dollar retainer fee. She handled all copies of the papers that were needed and all I needed to provide was the marriage license and a few miscellaneous papers. The lawyer fought hard and made sure that I got what was coming to me and even had it so that my husband would have to pay for court costs. This is proof that you do not have to pay hundreds of dollars on a retainer

There are many lawyers who are willing to take advantage of the situation. The service I got was fantastic! My lawyer worked hard for me and fought to get me the help that I needed. She was kind enough to not charge me until the proceedings were over and was even able to get my husband to pay for the court costs and paper charges that I needed.

I would recommend this to anyone but the biggest thing to do is research! The only way to really find a good lawyer is to do homework or you will get taken for a ride.
