the Price of Scrapbooking Classes

This was a community wide scrapbooking class, offered in a nearby church fellowship hall. There was no set theme for the class, but a bunch of us with similar interests ended up collaborating together and others did likewise, so there were about 4 different themes in a group of over 50 participants. The $35 included instruction for the next 2 weeks of classes. All materials (book, stamps, scissors, etc.) were extra.

This was a fun class. It was great meeting people from just outside the normal boundaries of our community as well as re-establishing relationships with others. Although I wish some basic, products had been included in the price (even if at a higher price), I am still happy overall.

It was not as tedious as I had thought scrapbooking would be, I made some new friends, and I know if I ever have questions or need opinions about "scrapping", I can pick up the phone and call someone else that attended with me.

Find out in advance what is included in your fees. Understand that if you have a particular item (book, paper, etc.) that you just HAVE to have, buy it before you get to the class because chances are you will be somewhat limited in your buying choices at the class.
