the Price of Scrapbooking Classes

It was $15 for a one hour introductory scrapbooking class. The purpose of the class to to provide tips to get those who were interested in scrapbooking some ideas of where to start. The cost covered all materials (basic card stock, patterned background sheets, glue, and other decorative pieces) and tax was included. We were taught how to use different scissors to create fun borders and ways to creatively position pictures over color coordinated backgrounds.

It was definitely a good beginner's course, since everything that was taught was really basic. The instructors were really friendly and never made you feel bad if you didn't know what you were doing or had a question to ask. The place itself was really clean and the room was bright and cheery.

An interest in scrapbooking is a must, otherwise it's not as exciting. I went with a few friends and that made it more fun, since we like to craft together anyway. Going with friends also gives you someone to bounce ideas off of and to share the experience with. You could probably get a lot of the tips off the Internet, but I think it's easier to learn when someone is teaching you in person and have a lot of the tools and materials available to try before you buy.
