Description of service

I took my son in to see the dentist because he had fallen and jammed his tooth. We ended up paying, what I thought was way to much just to have the dentist look at him for five minutes and then proceed to tell me that he wasn't sure and that I should bring him back in two weeks. This dentist didn't take many kinds of insurance and was very particular. I didn't end up having to pay for the x-ray that they took, due to my pointing out that his regular dentist had taken the same x-ray two days prior and I refused to pay for the same thing again.

Review of Service

The dentist and the dental assistants in this office seemed very helpful, especially with the kids. But because there were so many of them running around it seemed as if no one knew what was going on. The fact that they didn't accept any HMO insurance was a surprise. They only accepted PPO insurance which was a problem for me. I ended up having to pay a lot more money than I should have for a few minutes just to have the dentist tell me that he wasn't sure. And he seemed so busy running everywhere at one time that I'm not sure how he was keeping everything straight.

Tips

Make sure when you are going to a new dentist or specialist that you know what kind of insurance they accept and what kind of service you can expect to get, otherwise you might be in for a surprise.
