Description of service
My daughter got one of tooth pulled that was previously filled. I was charged for the extraction, and sedation medication.
Review of Service
The service was great. The office was designed for children. It had vibrant colors, toys as well as soft music. The staff greeted us with smiles and concern. They immediately put my daughter at ease by asking questions about her. The dentist was a doctor that was pregnant. She was very nurturing. She took the time to talk to my daughter and I about the procedure.
Tips
I would do my homework. Ask co-workers and friends about their dentist. Check the doctors credential out before you schedule an appointment. Do a consultation before you make you final decision to go with a specific dentist. Go to the office to meet the staff and inquire about the services provided and questions about the procedure that your child needs.
When you get referrals from friends and co-workers ask them specific questions like why they like the specific dentist that they referred to you. Ask them how long they have used this dentist. Bring your child and allow the child to get a feel for the office, equipment and the dentist. Children are great indicators when it comes to people. If your child has a level of comfort after the initial consultation and you feel that the dentist meets all of your standards, then you have found the right dentist.
I would do a price comparison as well. This may be based on if you are paying cash or you have insurance to cover the service rendered. Many times you will find that you will pay for a nicer office with perks like an office that gives out beanie babies or an office that has a play room fully stocked with the latest toys and accessories.
