Description of service
My son started taking tang soo do lessons. Its a form of Korean Martial Arts and self defense. The lessons are given at our local community center. The instructor is a black belt and was formally a police officer in our city. He has over 50 students in his class that ranges in ages from Five to fifty. My son wants to become a black belt in Tang soo do and this will probably take anywhere from five to seven years depending on how much time he wants to devote to it. He seems to enjoy it very much as do all the other students there also.
Review of Service
I would very much recommend this this service to anyone who wants to learn martial arts or self defense. Its only $20 per month and there are two classes every week. So for $20 per month you get eight classes that last one hour each and that is a great price for a great service. Its also great exercise. There are many people who have joined just for that purpose and ended up liking it very much and are also learning something too.The instructor is a very helpful and takes time with each individual student as much as he can. He seems to love what he teaches.
Tips
I would advise anyone who wants to join a Karate or any form of martial arts classes shops around a little bit. There are classes offered where I live that range in prices from $20 per month like the one I attend all the way up to $200 per month. Most will let you sit in on a class and watch before you join, that way you can check out each one and decide which class best fits you and what you want to learn from it. Also, ask how much uniforms are, they are always extra but usually not very expensive.
