Description of service
My husband started experiencing very sharp pains in his stomach I thought maybe it was just something he ate. But then he started vomiting and I decided we better go to the emergency room just to get it checked out.
Review of Service
We got to the hospital and after waiting for what felt like forever they took him back. Turns out he had appendicitis and had to have his appendix removed. Most doctors do consider this an emergency procedure because if you don't get it taken out in time and your appendix burst you can die. My husband said that the pain before he went was much worse than the pain after. He ended up staying four days and then about a week after he got out he was able to go back to work and perform normally. I am glad that we got it in time instead of thinking it was food poisoning and just ignoring it.
Tips
If you are experiencing sharp pains I wouldn't just write it off. Call your doctor, or if it is after hours call the local emergency room and tell them your symptoms. They will be able to determine if you should come in and get checked out.
