Description of service
The service was emergency surgery on a broken wrist that I suffered last November on a family trip to New Jersey for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was done at a local ER, and the $50 represents my insurance copay for an ER visit. The emergency medical procedure involved re-breaking the wrist. It also involved setting it, and placing a cast on.
Review of Service
The entire experience was awful and painful. I was on meds for most of it though, and honestly don't remember much about the procedure itself. From what my family told me, the doctors were very curteous, and I got rushed right in, did not have to wait long at all. Upon returning home I got a regular orthopedic and he also said that the emergency re-breaking of the wrist was in fact necessary, and did go very well. Breaking the wrist was a painful experience and a huge hassle for the holidays, but at least I was treated in good hands.
Tips
My tip is to not play rough games of football with the family during the holidays so you don't do anything stupid and break your wrist in the first place like I did, because it is a painful experience!
