the Cost of Emergency Medical Procedures

I utilized emergency services for a serious fall down the stairs. I had to have an MRI, blood work, x-rays and other various small medical tasks.

I was very unhappy with the quality of service that I received. I was rushed by ambulance from a fall down a flight of stairs. I fell down 15 steps and was rushed to the hospital deemed the best for spinal cord injuries in the Raleigh/Durham area. It was the worst treatment ever. It included the fact that they misread my MRI- sent me home and then called me back the following day for an emergency visit. I had serious damage to my spinal cord and had been sent home. They then charged me for the visit they called me back for. It was there fault, and I had to pay for it. I was very unhappy, and it was very bad, and I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone.

I reccomend that even in an emergency situation know your rights- you can go to whatever hospital it is that makes you feel comfortable. So do your research now in the event something were to happen. Know the hospitals in your area- for your sake and your families.
