Description of service
The service that I paid for was a professional installation of a home audio system that I purchased at a retail store. The service was an independent source that I utilized to install the home audio system. The installation took roughly one hour, and the service included a tutorial on how to use the system once set up. The service involved an appointment time of roughly eight hours where I had to stay home and wait for the installation expert, much the same as someone from the cable company coming and repairing the cable. Lastly, the service came with a lifetime warranty for the set up of the wiring and the entire home audio system.
Review of Service
While the appointment time of roughly eight hours was certainly a drawback to the entire service, the expert installation made me comfortable in knowing that the audio system was properly set up and should work with no issues. The service, for me, was very helpful because I am not very technically inclined and it was nice to know that this service is available to people like me who enjoy good home audio while not knowing the inner workings of all the components. The fact that the service came with a lifetime warranty also let me feel safe in the fact that I know if the wiring is found faulty or something is not working properly, I can call the service to come and fix it.
Tips
If you trust someone to set up the home audio system for you, then explore that option, because no one likes waiting around for multiple hours for the installation technician to come to your house. While there is that major drawback to hiring an installation expert from a company, the combination of the lifetime warranty for the wiring and the knowledge that an expert has set up the most efficient way to wire to your home audio makes this a great service.
