the Price of Face Waxing

I have battled more and more facial hair over the years and was delighted to try a facial waxing service to remove the extra dark hair growing on my upper lip and chin areas. The $40 included prepping the skin so that the hair was loosened, as well as the actual waxing and application of a follow up cream to calm the skin.

The salon where the service was performed was a little too loud and New Age for me, but the actual service itself was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to try to make you feel welcome. They offered complimentary coffee, tea and water while you waited for your turn.

The waxing procedure wasn't bad at all, especially considering all of the tweezing I have done on these facial areas over the years. My skin was slightly irritated for a couple of hours afterwards, but by that night all of the redness was gone. The best part is that I shouldn't have to do anything else for these areas for approximately another month.

Call several salons for prices and be sure to ask what's included. If one seems particularly friendly, take a chance or arrange for a free consultation to make sure you're at the right salon for you.
