Description of service
I went into a local salon to have my upper lip waxed. Once seated, the procedure took no more than ten minutes. The technician leaned me back in a comfortable position and began to work. Hot wax was applied to my upper lip and ripped off with facial tape. To ease the pain the technician would quickly replace the tape with her fingers. Upon finishing the technician applied a cream to further reduce the sting and the redness. The total cost of the procedure was $10. This did not include tip. I tipped the technician $2. So that came to a total of $12.
Review of Service
I would definately say that I got superb treatment. I have been to other places that charge more, but found that the procedure is basic and pretty much the same wherever you go. Its a bit painful but the technician was careful about helping to reduce the pain. I will most likely be going back for this procedure at this location.
Tips
If the place you are going takes appointments, its worth making an appointment prior to going.
If the place does not take an appointment try to go on a weekday morning, to avoid the busiest time.
