the Price of Face Waxing

A couple of months ago, I paid $35 to have my upper lip waxed. This paid the the wax technician's time, the wax, the wax strips and the after care soothing lotion.

I have gotten waxes many times on various parts of my body, but a couple of months ago, I got my upper lip waxed for the first time. I was slightly embarrassed about having this done, but the salon employess were so nice. The wax techinician in particular was an absolute doll, and she chatted with me the entire timemaking me forget completely about the slight embarrassment factor. She was efficient, quick and made the process as painless as possible. She was meticulous and made sure that she got every single hair, and even touched up my eyebrows for nothing extra. Afterwards, she gave me some soothing after care lotion samples so I wouldn't have to spend that extra money. Now, I never go to anyone else!

I would definitely recommend going to a salon for facial waxing rather than doing it yourself at home. For one, the wax used is great for sensitive skin, and having a professional minimizes the chance of getting skin irritations and/or ingrown hairs. It is not that expensive and definitely worth the cost!
