Description of service
To ensure that my home is safe, I use a nationally known security system to protect my family. The security system monitors motion in all the rooms on the bottom floor of my home, has saftey monitors on all my windows and even knows when my doors are opened and closed. The total cost of this service, per month, is $19.99, which I pay by a year at a time. The initial installation cost was $150, but that was just a one time fee.
Review of Service
This service has helped me tremendously. When i'm away from home, which is a lot because of work, I know that there is someone watching my home. If someone breaks into my home when i'm not there, the police are called out to the house to see what the problem is. Even when I am home, say asleep, I know that I will be alerted by the alarm the second a burgler tries to get in. Thankfully, I have never had to use the alarm, but it gives me real piece of mind to know that it's there.
Tips
Not all security companies are the same, so be educated with your purchase. You want one with a 24/7 monitoring service, that way they call 911 for you. If the alarm just sounds a loud noise, it'll be up to you if you can call the police or not.
