Description of service
My wife and I just paid to have five windows put in our very small 800 square foot house. We shopped around for a general contractor that was licensed and bonded. We were quoted everything from $100 per window to $25 an hour. After researching that it takes anywhere from 1-4 hours to install a window we went with the contractor for $25 an hour. Total costs for the five windows and all of the trim work and sealer cost us $285. Obviously way cheaper than the $100 per window contractor. Our contractor also hauled away and disposed of our old windows.
Review of Service
The quality of service was outstanding. The contractor was very quick yet friendly. He was also very considerate of the fact that we have small children, he made sure that no debris was left that could possible injure one of the kids when they played out side. His service was definitely above and beyond.
Tips
The biggest tip i have is to be sure to shop around. I am glad we did it saved us almost $250. Also make sure that they are licensed and bonded, it really prevents any worries about bad work. Asking for names of people they have worked for before or a list of references isn't a bad idea either.
