Description of service
My service includes the hook-up of three television sets to the satellite service, as well as one digital video recorder, and subscription to one premium movie package that provides access to 8 movie channels.
Review of Service
Generally, I am very satisfied with my satellite television service. The installation was free because of a promotion being offered at that time, and even though the worker came close to the end of the 5-hour window that they make you wait for installation, he did a pretty fast job and cleaned up after the work was done. He placed the satellite dish on the roof of my house and then ran the cables through my walls to connect to my three television sets. He then made sure that all three sets received clear signals and showed me how to use the remote control and DVR system. I have found that my service goes out much less frequently than when I had cable tv and it is restored more quickly after major storms. I have not had any problems with the service since I signed up for it and it has worked very well for my family.
Tips
Definitely make sure that everything works properly before you let the installation guy leave, because if you need him to come back at a later date, it will be very inconvenient and you will not be as happy with the service. Before he leaves, you should spend a few minutes watching different channels on all of the televisions that have been hooked up. Make sure that the picture is very clear and that it is centered properly on the screen and doesn't cut off the crawl across the bottom like on news and sports channels.
