Description of service
I had hair down the middle of my back.I did a walk in and started by having a wash and cut.The price for wash and cut was 25 dollars.I then had a complete color and that was an additional $50.I also tipped the stylist $5 for her work.
Review of Service
The salon was inside of a mall and looked to be kept very neat. When you walk in you are to sign yourself in and wait for the stylist. The wait time was a bit on the long side and went past the time they had quated me.When i got to the actual station i noticed she had yet to clean up her previous clients hair. She seemed to be a bit rushed with the hair cut. When it came time for the color she put on a timer and bgan working on another client. The timer went off and she was still busy and i had to interupt her so she could finish my color.
Tips
Always check out a stylist before going in.I would suggest making an appointment because walk ins can be very time consuming. Also make a not of how clean the salon is.Make sure they are getting clean combs out of those nifty glass jars with cleaner. Also just because a place is busy does not mean they are a good salon.I learned the hard way that the salon in malls can be very rushed because they do get so much traffic. Also dont forget to tip your stylist.Even if they do just an ok job tip at least a little something.i find when you tip less they know there service could use some improvment.
