At the salon that I attend the cost for all over hair color, which is a complete dye job is $50. If you find a certain person that you are more comfortable with or one that you think does a better job, then you can request that person every time. The $50 includes,a wash, dye and trim. I usually give her a $5 tip also. I usually go once a month, so I am spending $55 each month and each time I go. The amount of the tip is up to you, you can give more if you like, but $5 is typically what I see people tipping there.

I think the total cost of $55 is a very good price for the service that I receive there. I am happy with both the service and the price.
