Description of service
This service was a half-hour massage. It included a 30-minute deep tissue massage. In this case, she specifically worked on my neck and shoulders, which was where I was experiencing pain. The massage therapist used her fingers and hands to manually release the knots in my muscles. There were no other techniques involved.
Review of Service
The quality of this service far exceeds the cost. Every knot and all of the tension I felt in my body was released. There was soft music playing and I was able to fully relax and let all of my cares disappears for that period. The therapist uses lotions and oils that smell great and keep my skin from burning from the friction. The therapist told me to drink a lot of water after the treatment to help release the toxins from my body, keeping them from settling back into my muscles. The next day I felt wonderful - a little sore, but not in pain as I had been. Thirty minutes was just enough time. I full body massage (one hour) is twice the cost. I prefer to spend the same money having more sessions rather than longer ones.
Tips
Make sure your massage therapist is licensed in your state. Mine works in a chiropractor's office and I feel better knowing that she is being supervised by a doctor. You should also check with your own doctor before having a massage.
