Description of service
I found a coupon in one of those junk coupon mailers that come once a week. The ad said twenty dollars for a thirty minute massage, but it was for a chiropractic office. I felt like I deserved a good massage and the price was right so I headed over.
Review of Service
I've gotten massages before at salons and spa, so I know what a good massage is and what a bad massage is. First, the office was like any doctor's office, a boring, uninspired lobby, a waiting room for patients. Getting a massage at a spa, you have a relaxing, beautiful ambiance, purposefully designed to put you at ease. This was just your standard patient waiting room. I signed in and was made to wait for the doctor. I was led to a regular room with a massage table in it. I have to say it was the worse massage I've ever been given. The doctor, I'm sure, was a great doctor, but he was a terrible masseuse. He was talking most of the time, a lot of it had to do with the health of my back, the curve of my spine, my posture. I felt like I was getting a sales pitch on his services.
Tips
Go a spa or a salon and get a massage from a licensed masseuse before you ever think about going to a chiropractic office, no matter how good the deal is.
