Description of service
We submitted a black and white hard copy of our logo and needed it converted into a workable file type for several different projects we were working on. The graphic design house took our logo, coverted it to vector art -- the type required for banner making, printing brochures etc -- and re-created the logo 4 different ways (such as with our slogan, without our slogan, horizontal, and vertical). We then received the final logos both as a hard copy and as a computer file. This way we could email it if necessary.
Review of Service
I feel that this was a very fair fee for the service. Our invoice said that 1.5 hours of "total system time" was involved, and in comparing with several other places, this seemed to be a going rate ($35.00 per 30 minutes). In addition, we have the electronic file which is compatible with any computer system and will be usable again and again.
Tips
I suggest when you are looking for graphic design services -- whether you are looking for someone to create a new logo from scratch, or if you are just looking for modifications like we were -- that you make sure that some things are included above and beyond the hourly rate. We were emailed several proofs before the final files were made, and as aforementioned, we received the files at the end that we can use on a regular basis.
