the Cost of Logo Redesign and Upgrade

The $89.95/hour was for a full service graphic design firm to create a new logo/image for my company. This price included consultation, concept, roughs and finals. Total time paid for was about 12 hours.

My small start up firm was in need of a professional logo that didn't look like it was designed by an 8 year old. Because I'm used to working for a smaller company, the price of $89.95/hour seemed a bit steep, however I never realized how amazing the final logo would look. The total time I had to pay for was approximately 12 hours including consultation, which was free, concept drawings of which I was shown about 7 different options and ultimately I was shown two different versions of the final logo. Once I chose the logo I wanted the process was finished and I couldn't be happier with my new company image.

While the price may sound steep, you have to remember that these people are professionals that live, sleep, eat, and drink design. Chances are they know more than you about creating a logo/image for your company. When it comes down to it, if your company doesn't have a solid image, what good is it. This is how I would suggest justifying paying for something this expensive.
