Description of service
Application processed for permanent resident for the United States. This firm helped me fill out all of the forms and submitted the forms to immigration services for me.
Review of Service
I paid for my fingerprints and pictures myself, paid for notary services separately in the office, paid for copies separately, paid for translation of documents separately. These services were provided for me in the same office but billed separately. I was only allowed for two phone calls to the lawyer from the time I applied to the time I received my letter of acceptance and any additional phone calls I was to be billed for separately. After I received the letter of acceptance, I was on my own unless I paid him for his services, per minute.
Tips
Do not go to a lawyer! You pay three to five time more than what you would if you were to do it yourself. Go to the US Immigration services on line. You will find the forms and information on how to file there and you can do all the rest yourself - fingerprints & copies, the money order for the application, get your personal bank to provide notary services for you, sometimes it's free. And if you need document translated, there are small companies under Immigration Service in the yellow pages that can translate them for sometimes as little as $10 a document, just be sure that they are certified translators.
