the Price of Hip Hop Dance Lessons for Kids

I put my daughter in a hip hop style dance class as a way to have fun and meet new friends. The class was 1 hour long 1 day per week and was $45.00 per month. The teacher was young and energetic and seemed to really enjoy working with the class. They used popular, upbeat music and taught relatively easy dance moves to go with the music. Approximately 20 girls were in each class and were all in the same age group. Parents could stay and watch the class through a glass window or leave during the class and pick up their child after. At the end of each year the dance school had a performance in a large university auditorium which was a big deal. Outfits were ordered and DVD's could be bought.

My daughter loved the class. The instructors were nice and patient. The performance was well done and a lot of time was put into designing the little girls' outfits. All the parents seemed to enjoy the show and the girls were very proud.

Find out what type of leotards and shoes are needed, as this could be a big expense if you need tap or ballet gear.
