Description of service
My motorcycle broke down and needed to be repaired. I was just cruisin one day and the bike's engine just shut down. Luckily, I didn't lose control of the bike, but I was stranded in what most would call the middle of nowhere. I took the motorcycle to the local mechanic, which was also the dealer and had them fix the problem. Since I didn't know how to fix it, or what was wrong with it, I was totally in their hands. Thankfully, the charge for parts and labor was only $90.
Review of Service
I will use this service provider again. They didn't overcharge me, even though I have no knowledge of motorcycle repair - so I feel safe, like they won't take advantage of me. My bike was up and running in about three hours, and I even got some tips from the mechanic on general upkeep. Overall it was a great experience.
Tips
If your motorcycle is broken, the best thing to do is have someone you know look at it to see if they can tell what the problem is. If you can't do that, go with the dealer's mechanic. That way you can ensure they are certified and knowledgeable about your particular bike. They will also know if there are any recalls that you should be on the lookout for.
