Description of service
You had to decide weather you needed a full time or part time slot, and that would determine the price. For anything 20 hours or less, it was $75 a week, and for 40 up to 45 hours per week, it was $120 a week. What that included was baby food and formula, but as the parent you were to provide all diapers and wipes. Each child had their own port a crib, and the sheets would be changed weekly. Unless you gave a 2 week advance notice, you are locked in to your set fee weather the baby is there or not, the only exception would be loss of job or serious illness.
Review of Service
After trying numerous in home daycare, and 1 center, I found that the in home daycares were more nurturing, not so clincal. Your baby established more of a bond. The trick is to find one that your baby likes and that you are comfortable with. Most in home daycare will allow for a 2 week trial period before you are locked into any type of contract, where as a center, you aren't offered that flexablilty.
Tips
I would definitly recommend a in home licensed daycare. You can get a referral to ones in your area from the state. That way you know there has been a background check and that they truely do have a license. The ones that aren't I feel would be a much bigger risk on the parents part because there is nothing about the home that is verified by the state.
