the Price of Daycare for one Child between 1 and 12 Months

I am due to have my first child any day now but have already reserved a spot in a local day care center. I consider the price steep but comparable to bigger cities nearby, I have been told it is rather affordable because most daycare centers in the next bigger city where I work are nearly $200 a week! It is not the only daycare in our area, but it is the one we are most comfortable with leaving our child because the facilities are camera monitored and clean while being in a good neighborhood on a main road. Food is provided as well as entertainment but of course, you must bring your diaper bag loaded down with supplies for the new baby! You can drop off as early as 6 am and last pickup time is 6:30. The daycare center also offers a drop off and pick up service for children that are school age. They charge extra for this, of course...but who doesn't need the extra help!

We have visited this daycare several times and are fond of the staff. They are polite and well staffed to meet the needs of all the children. Any questions from parents are addressed promptly, and they will review camera film as requested.

Always ask questions (don't be afraid to) and meet all of the staff members so you get to know them well.
