Description of service
Recently at a business conference in Las Vegas we had need for limo service for a night taking out an important client. A taxi is obviously an option, but we had a party of 6 and splitting up going into Las Vegas traffic the two parties might never see each other again. Additionally, for an important client a limo is appropriate. We went through our hotel's concierge who made the arrangments. It was to be for 5 hours. Driving distances were relatively short considering the nature of the Las Vegas Strip, however with traffic there was appreciable driving times. The remainder obviously with the driver waiting for our call to be picked up. The driver provided his cell phone number for this notification. He was polite and professional. The quoted rate was $100 per hour and we gave an additional 20% tip bringing the total for the evening to $600. It seemed to be a relatively newer, black nice sized limo. There was beer and soft drinks provided complimentary.
Review of Service
The driver was helpful and prompt. Pick up was exactly on time and various pick ups at locations during the night were just as prompt. Traffic was terrible, but that can't be blamed on the driver or limo service of course. The driver exhibited greater patience than I in the face of it.
Tips
Depending upon how much time you have to make arrangements it is probably best to compare rates. However, most major city's services have comparable prices so it is important to get the best quality. A hotel concierge is most helpful in this if you are on the road.
