Description of service
My daughter took a series of what were mostly one on one horseback riding lessons. Each lesson cost us $45 a piece and she would last anywhere from one hour up to several hours.
Review of Service
We took a month long trip to Green Bay, WI when we were thinking of moving there. We stayed just outside the city and happened to have a stable right next door to us. Like most little girls, my daughter was very into horses so she started spending a lot of time over there. Eventually one of the guys who worked there offered to give her personal riding lessons for $45. That was a bit rich for our blood but she was so excited that we agreed.
First, a lot of the time in these lessons was spent with her cleaning stalls or grooming the horses. She actually enjoyed these things but I still felt like, if anything, she should have been paid for this stuff - instead we were paying for the lessons.
And even the lesson parts weren't really lessons. It was more just her riding slowly around, following the 'instructor'.
Tips
Sometimes paying someone to help out on a one on one basis is a great idea, but if you do that make sure you ask what exactly you will get for your money.
